Packaging design and mockups of the packaging using Photoshop and Dimension are often crucial in getting a potential partner to buy into a concept. In the fast paced world of retail sales, I often build packaging dielines on my own in Illustrator, then design the artwork for the dielines. Those dielines then become the source material for digital mock-ups; I used Photoshop and Dimension to create realistic mockups of packaging for Herb & Lou’s, as well as for potential partnerships in the retail gifting space.
