This project’s objective was to pick a popular brand and rebrand it for a new audience. This Barbasol Artisan Shaving Kit is aimed towards the well-groomed, minimalist gentleman looking for a richer shaving experience. The sleek meets traditional design communicates a sense of modernity, as well as of tradition.

The pinstripes and the red “tie” shape that span from the front to the back of the kit’s outer sleeve calls back to formal men’s attire. The cream colored ribbon creates stripes across the red “tie” on the front and back of the package, mimicking the stripes on a barber’s pole – an iconic attribute of Barbasol’s branding dating back to 1919.
